Therapy for trauma and anxiety, in person in Temecula and telehealth across California

Therapy for Teens

Mountain trail at sunset

Being a teenager today comes with real pressure. Therapy gives teens a space to be heard and to learn skills that last.

Teens I work with may be facing

  • Anxiety, stress and school pressure
  • Low mood, irritability or withdrawal
  • Trauma or a difficult experience
  • Anger and big emotions
  • Conflict at home or with friends
  • Identity, confidence and life changes

How therapy with teens works

I keep sessions real and practical. Teens learn skills to manage emotions and stress, drawing on CBT and DBT skills. Parents are part of the process: I share general progress and ways to help at home, while keeping your teen’s trust by not sharing the details of what they say, except when safety requires it.

In person or online

I see clients in person at my Temecula office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and by secure telehealth anywhere in California the rest of the week. Many clients come from Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Moreno Valley, Riverside, Perris and Corona, and telehealth clients join from all over the state.

I accept many insurance plans through Grow Therapy, Rula and Headway, and private pay is available. Not sure if your plan is covered? Reach out and I’ll help you check.

Take the first step

You don’t need to have the right words or know which approach you need. Reach out, and we’ll talk about what’s going on and whether we’re a good fit.

For parents: read Signs Your Teen’s Anxiety Needs Professional Support.

If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.

Your right to a Good Faith Estimate: If you don’t have insurance or choose not to use it, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs. You’ll receive it in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service, and you can ask for one any time. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your estimate, you can dispute it. Learn more at cms.gov/nosurprises.
