Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety can make your mind race, your chest tighten and everyday choices feel heavy. Therapy can help you feel calmer and more in control.

Signs anxiety is getting in the way

  • Constant worry you can’t switch off
  • Panic attacks or a racing heart
  • Trouble sleeping or relaxing
  • Avoiding places, people or tasks
  • Irritability, tension or feeling on edge
  • Intrusive thoughts or compulsions (OCD)

How I help with anxiety

We start by understanding what your anxiety is trying to protect you from. Then we build practical skills to calm your body and change the thought patterns that keep worry going. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. When anxiety is rooted in past experiences, EMDR can help too.

In person or online

I see clients in person at my Temecula office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and by secure telehealth anywhere in California the rest of the week. Many clients come from Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Moreno Valley, Riverside, Perris and Corona, and telehealth clients join from all over the state.

I accept many insurance plans through Grow Therapy, Rula and Headway, and private pay is available. Not sure if your plan is covered? Reach out and I’ll help you check.

Take the first step

You don’t need to have the right words or know which approach you need. Reach out, and we’ll talk about what’s going on and whether we’re a good fit.
